Introduction
These General Terms & Conditions explain the relationship between you and Evolution Ltd. They define how your account works, how payments are processed, how we communicate with you, and the rights and responsibilities for both parties. By opening an account or using any Evolution service, you accept these Terms.
These Terms apply to all personal and business customers unless a product-specific agreement states otherwise.
1. About Evolution
Evolution Ltd is a licensed European credit institution supervised by the Bank of Lithuania. We provide account services, payment services, cards, FX, lending, and digital banking features. As a regulated bank, we must meet strict standards for security, safeguarding, and customer protection.

2. Eligibility
To open and use an Evolution account, you must meet the following requirements:
You must be at least 18 years old.
You must complete identity verification.
You must reside in an eligible country.
You must use your account for lawful purposes only.
You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
We may refuse to open an account or close an existing one if required by law, sanctions, or compliance rules.
3. Your Evolution Account
Your account may include:
A personal or business IBAN account
Multiple currency pockets (if available)
A debit, virtual, or metal card
Features such as savings, budgeting, referrals, crypto, or lending
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, PINs, passcodes, and authentication methods. You must notify us immediately if you detect unauthorized activity.
4. Account Verification (KYC and KYB)
We must verify your identity, source of funds, and in some cases your business structure. This is required by European AML laws.
We may request documents such as:
Identity documents
Proof of address
Business registration certificates
Beneficial ownership details
Source-of-funds information
Failure to provide required information may result in account restrictions or closure.
5. Using Your Account
Your account is intended for day-to-day financial activity, including:
Receiving salary or payments
Sending transfers
Using your card for purchases
Holding balances in supported currencies
Accessing additional features offered by Evolution
You may not use your account to operate as a payments intermediary, process third-party funds, or engage in prohibited business activities.
6. Payments and Transfers
You may use your account to make SEPA transfers, international transfers, internal transfers, and card payments.
Payment execution times depend on:
The type of payment
The currency
The time of day
Whether additional checks are required
Payments may be delayed, reversed, or blocked if we detect suspicious activity or if required for regulatory reasons.

7. Cards
Your Evolution card enables online and in-store payments, ATM withdrawals, and digital wallet transactions.
You must keep your card information secure and report any loss or theft immediately.
Card usage may be limited by balance, plan limits, merchant category restrictions, or security checks. For more details, see the Cardholder Agreement.
8. Prohibited Activities
You may not use Evolution services for:
Illegal activity
Fraud or scams
Sanctions violations
Gambling (where restricted)
Unlicensed financial services
Money laundering or terrorist financing
Cryptocurrency activity outside permitted use
Transactions that involve misleading or deceptive conduct
We may freeze or close your account if we suspect prohibited activity.
9. Fees and Charges
Evolution applies transparent pricing for account plans, payments, FX, cards, and premium features.
Fees may include:
Subscription fees
Card delivery or replacement fees
FX and international transfer fees
ATM withdrawal fees
Chargeback fees

10. FX and Currency Conversion
Evolution may provide real-time FX services for supported currencies.
Exchange rates may include:
A markup
A spread
A weekend adjustment

11. Lending and Credit Services
If offered in your region, Evolution may provide loans, credit, overdrafts, or installment products.
Credit is subject to eligibility, affordability checks, and additional loan-specific terms. Your credit behavior may influence your eligibility.
12. Crypto Services
If available, crypto services allow you to buy, sell, convert, and hold supported digital assets.
Crypto services carry significant risks including volatility, liquidity, and irreversible transactions. Crypto is not covered by deposit insurance.

13. Security and Authentication
We use Strong Customer Authentication methods such as:
Passcodes
Biometrics
Device binding
One-time codes
Behavioral analytics
You must update your device regularly and protect your credentials. You must report any suspected fraud immediately.
14. Unauthorized Transactions
If you believe a transaction was unauthorized, inform us immediately.
We will refund unauthorized payments unless:
You acted fraudulently
You intentionally allowed unauthorized use
You failed to protect your device or credentials
You may be liable up to €50 for certain losses related to lost or stolen cards, unless you followed all security instructions.
15. Account Restrictions and Freezes
We may temporarily restrict your account if:
We detect suspicious activity
We need to comply with law enforcement
We need additional information from you
A technical or security issue arises
Restrictions remain in place until the underlying issue is resolved.
16. Closing Your Account
You may close your account at any time, provided no balances are negative, no open investigations exist, and no pending transactions remain.
We may close your account for:
Non-compliance with laws
Fraud or suspicious behavior
Providing false information
Repeated violations of our policies
Risk or operational reasons
Before closure, we may provide notice unless prohibited by law.
17. Our Responsibilities
We must:
Provide banking services with reasonable care
Protect your personal data
Comply with all banking and regulatory obligations
Communicate changes in a clear and timely manner
Safeguard your funds according to EU rules
Provide support through official channels
We are responsible only for losses that result from our error or omission as defined by law.

You must:
Provide accurate information
Comply with laws and sanctions
Use your account responsibly
Respond to verification and compliance requests
Protect your credentials and devices
Monitor your account regularly
Failure to follow these responsibilities may limit your access to services.

20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms for regulatory, operational, or product-related reasons.

Continued use of your account means you accept the new Terms.
21. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Lithuanian law and applicable EU regulations.
